Opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to expand their manufacturing knowledge, with lots of variety and opportunity to learn.
Well established company with global reach and a recently acquired manufacturing facility seeks experienced health and safety advisor with a keen eye for improvement, finely honed coordination skills and the ability to adapt to meet a variety of tasks.
Systems are in place and there’s some project work underway to bring health and safety up to best practice standards at this site. Currently reporting to the Director of Safety in Australia, you’ll have the full support of the NZ based safety team and HSE Country Manager and there’s an administrator in place to assist with tracking training, updating registers and incidents.
This is a role that requires visibility, so no safety from behind the desk; you’ll actively coach line managers and site personnel with a focus on providing solutions.
The site operates 24/7 which allows you some flexibility in your start and finish times and there is parking available.
• Level 4 National Certificate in OSH, Diploma preferred
• ICAM certification would be an advantage
• Experience with the ACC Partnership programme and 3rd party claims administrators
