Their team of over 1200 staff across the North Island help to provide support to families, youth and individuals to deliver this vision.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager of People and Culture of Spectrum Foundation you will work to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone delivering these services out in the community. The major risks include moving and handling of people with physical impairments, lone working in community environments, road safety and all the other incumbent risks of workers in health services. As a member of the Accredited Employer Programme you will ensure that all procedures and processes are in place to maintain accreditation and improve WSMP audits. The role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management, from reporting to the executive team to building engagement with remote teams delivering care.

Skills and experience

• Proven safety experience in an organisation delivering services to the public

• Diploma in OHS or similar level of qualification

• Experience of operating an Accredited Employer Programme

• Ability to engage at all levels

• Experience improving employee engagement
