We're embarking on the next phase of our Health and Safety journey. Solid progress has been made across our business to establish our Health and Safety systems and processes across the business. With this in place we're now looking for an engaging and influential Health and Safety professional to continue the programme and cement Health and Safety as a priority for all of our people across multiple working environments. We need someone with a can do, pragmatic attitude, who is solution focused and who drives the NZRB to maintain successful business delivery in a safe and healthy manner.

Reporting to the Head of Risk and Regulatory Affairs, you'll work closely with the Risk and Regulatory Team and the wider Services Business Unit. While our Head Office is based in Wellington, this is a truly national role that requires travel throughout New Zealand to ensure effective engagement with our own Staff, and Racing Clubs and Codes nationwide. You will have previously implemented effective and living Health and Safety programmes across complex multi-site organisations through the successful engagement of directors, leaders and workers and effective worker participation schemes. It goes without saying you'll have excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills along with a thorough understanding of how to successfully implement the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
