With around 120 permanent staff, our client works manages projects for their customers in telecoms, power and water, providing a full range of services from concept through to handover.
Based in Auckland, they have teams of experts working nationwide to deliver high quality, innovative solutions.
About the role
Reporting to the GM of People and Safety, you’ll provide support and guidance to all levels of the business, ensuring the successful implementation of safety initiatives and providing support and advice to clients on their project needs.
A mix of site and office-based work, this role will also touch on Environmental and Quality matters and experience conducting quality audits is helpful. You’ll have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with an Advisor and an Auditor, who will report directly to this role, so it’s preferred that you’ve had experience in guiding a team.
We also anticipate that the successful candidate will be able to show that they’re self-managing, able to complete tasks on time and on budget and have strong written and oral communication skills. There will be some national travel, so you must be able to stay away as required.
Relevant qualifications in health and safety are required and you must be in NZ, with the right to work in place to be considered for this role. Candidates must also hold a full, clean drivers’ licence and be fully vaccinated.
