Our operations are expanding, and we are growing our successful and committed team. This new Health and Safety manager will play an integral role in leading our health and safety culture, engaging with our managers and staff to ensure safety is a natural part of what we do. This role leads our H&S activities by developing policies and systems, ensuring they are implemented, demonstrated, and supported throughout all aspects of Hortus across New Zealand.
To thrive in this challenging role, you will have a tertiary qualification in Health and Safety Management with experience in an operational environment, ideally primary industry at a senior advisor level or above. You will have expert knowledge of the Health and Safety legislation and a proven track record in building a culture that supports H&S management. You will have worked with all levels across a business, building effective relationships and both your written and verbal communication skills will be one of your strengths. As we grow the need to travel will increase therefore, we need someone who has flexibility
