About the role

This is an opportunity to join an established consultancy business, based in Henderson and working Auckland wide. The role is ideally suited to a health and safety professional who has gained qualification and experience and is ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll be a part of a close-knit team who share knowledge and laughs, so a sense of humour is a must. Ongoing support with both your technical and professional development will be provided.

As Consultant, you’ll be meeting with clients to understand their needs and support them in the development of their safety culture and performance, ensuring they have systems in place that suit their needs. An adaptable and commercially aware approach is essential.

Duties may include

• Review and update of documents to ensure compliance

• Conducting annual audits

• Investigations

• Development and delivery of safety initiatives and solutions

• Client liaison and relationship management

Skills and experience

Customer focused and with excellent communications skills, you will have a solid understanding of the HSWA and its practical application.

• Level 6 Diploma or studying toward

• ICAM Certification

• Proven knowledge of NZ legislation and regulations

• Clean, full NZ Drivers licence
