Seeking an experienced Safety Advisor with the aptitude to build new business opportunities while supporting existing relationships

Their genuine commitment to protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of their own staff and contractors has led to a unique opportunity to apply new technology in the construction environment.
The role
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, this role is located in Wellington and will work throughout the wider Wellington region. Initially mentoring and coaching their foundation business, this role will also develop new relationships and commercial networks where proven technology can be applied in an operational environment.
The successful candidate will have an operational background in health and safety, alongside the relevant qualifications and ideally have familiarity with construction. Able to work autonomously, you will be responsible for identifying potential new business and forming sustainable commercial relationships. You will be supported by an established team who are focussed on advocating their proven product to new and existing contractors and sub-contractors.
Duties
* Provide technical advice and support to promote risk management
* Maintain communication on legislative and industry changes and trends
* Provide client specific safety solutions
* Maintain CRM with up to date client and lead information
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships
* Implement and support technology into new businesses
* Conduct audits and inspections as requested
Skills and experience
* Relevant HSE qualifications
* Experience in applying new technology in an operational environment
* Familiarity with construction would be an advantage
* Experience in working to KPI’s and targets
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* NZ experience in a health and safety role
