About the role

We are looking for an HSE Systems and Performance Advisor, to cover parental leave until early November 2022. Primarily based in Mt. Wellington, you will support the management and improvement of HSE Management Systems, safety performance and Training and Wellbeing programmes across the organisation.

Our client is a leading player with the utilities sector, providing maintenance, construction and engineering services. It’s a large-scale business (1000+ employees) with safety critical activities.

HSE Systems and Performance Advisor:

In close collaboration with the National HSE Manager your key focus will be upon safety reporting and data analysis. Strong computer literacy skills are essential to your success. You’ll be comfortable using SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and a range of in-house systems. A working knowledge of Power BI would be useful but not essential.

With sound HSE knowledge you will have a minimum of 1-2 years industry experience. An ability to multi-task, think on your feet and manage a varied workload is essential. Organisational skills and a fine eye for details are key

We are ideally looking for the successful candidate to join the business in mid-January working through to November.

Duties:

• Maintaining HSE systems and ensuring required improvements are carried out

• Ensure compliance with current regulations, client, industry, and good practice requirements

• Conduct HSE performance data analysis, verification and reporting

• Carry out Sustainable Environment data analysis, verification and reporting.

• Monitor HSE event reporting, ensuring completion of relevant actions

• Administer client HSE pre-qualification docs

• Maintain and update the HSE tender documentation as required

• Assist the National HSE Manager with the ongoing development of HSE training materials

• Health monitoring

• Support the company wide Wellbeing Programme.

• Maintaining medical examination records in a central secured data storage
