About the role
In this pivotal role, reporting to the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Lead, you will partner with key stakeholders to implement health, safety, and wellbeing strategies.
You will drive improvement in safety culture while collaborating across diverse portfolios. This role focuses on empowering leaders and employees to confidently manage health and safety, offering tailored solutions for continual improvement.
Duties include:
• Collaborate with leaders and employees to manage critical health and safety risks.
• Provide expert advice on incident reporting and investigation.
• Develop and execute emergency management systems.
• Mentor ambassadors to enhance safety competency.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and internal frameworks.
Skills and experience:
We anticipate you will enjoy variety in your day and have solid experience within Health and Safety, in a high-risk environment such as construction.
Along with:
• A tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Proven experience in cultural safety improvements and delivery of strategy.
• Strong knowledge of NZ regulatory requirements.
• Excellent critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Experience in facilities management and/or construction portfolios.
