Seeking a qualified health and safety generalist experienced in the manufacturing and engineering environment.

________________________________________

This role is ideal for a safety professional, comfortable in an engineering workshop or manufacturing environment; who can offer all round competency in safety, training and document writing, while contributing to the review and development of safety initiatives, providing the mentorship and guidance to implement company systems and processes.

This is not an environment where safety is conducted from behind a desk, but you will also need to be fully competent in handling the administrative aspects of the role as well. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will be supported by site management and the wider HSE team.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have the following:

• Relevant safety qualifications

• Solid HS experience within a manufacturing environment

• Technical knowledge

• Highly effective communication skills – written and verbal

• Proven experience coaching first line managers

• Practical, down to earth approach
