Seeking a dynamic and proactive advisor who enjoys developing, influencing and implementing in a high-risk environment
Dunedin based, this role sits within the power sector, servicing Dunedin and the wider Central Otago region. It’s an opportunity for a collaborative and influential Health and Safety Advisor to make a visible difference – get involved at the development stage and directly influence positive change.
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager and working alongside key stakeholders, applicants must have the ability to successfully collect and collate information, design and develop usable and practical technical documents, and then take part in implementing the initiatives company wide through a process of engagement and mentoring.
With a mix of permanent and contracted employees, you may have previously worked in a role where contractor management was key and really enjoy the challenge of aligning the company’s values and vision for all.
OHS Diploma preferred
Solid experience in a similarly high-risk environment
Well developed people and communication skills
Familiarity in contractor management
Experience in auditing and ISO 450001 is beneficial
Proven experience in leading safety initiatives
High attention to detail
Experience in reporting and writing training and safety documents
Experience with Vault would be an advantage
Full NZ Driver’s Licence
