We are looking for an enthusiastic Health and Safety Advisor to help ensure Manaaki Whenua complies with its duties under the H&S at Work Act.

About the opportunity

The purpose of this role is to coordinate key parts of the Manaaki Whenua HSE Management System to consistently produce excellent health and safety practices across all work sites. This will include overseeing medical monitoring/health surveillance programmes, contractor H&S management, developing and sourcing documented evidence of HSE practices for staff, clients, auditors and others, and helping to maintain Manaaki Whenua's Certification against ISO 45001.

This position is permanent, full-time, reports to the Compliance and Risk Manager and is based at our Lincoln site.

About you

You will have a H&S qualification (Diploma, National Certificate or Accreditation), and have at least five years' experience in a similar H&S role. You will be familiar with the Health and Safety and Work Act 2015 and applicable regulations and be experienced in interpreting and applying regulatory requirements to workplace situations.

An understanding of ISO 45001 is highly desirable.

You will have excellent communication skills with Plain English writing abilities and a thorough understanding of MS Office platforms including SharePoint.
