We are a high-achieving, fast growing company with an exciting opportunity for an entry or intermediate level H&S Advisor to join our team of experienced H&S professionals.

About you

We are seeking a smart, tech-savvy H&S Advisor to join our team. For us, it’s not just about what you do, but how you do it. Joining a team of four, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive health and safety advice and support to allow them to successfully implement and run the HazardCo system. You will be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service simply and effectively and your advice will enable our customers to keep themselves and their people safe and healthy while working. You will be pragmatic, positive, motivated and want to make a difference in NZ’s health and safety culture.

You will;

  • Have a Level 3 H&S qualification (or equivalent) and be committed to ongoing professional development
  • Have outstanding communication and people skills
  • Have a knack for connecting with people over the phone
  • Be a proactive problem solver
  • Have excellent admin and processing skills to support your Advisory activity
  • Work methodically and conscientiously

The role

Some things you will be doing are:

  • Providing health and safety advice and support by phone and email on issues relating to legislation, regulations, standards, and accepted good practice
  • Actively managing and supporting our customers dealing with accidents and events
  • Identifying recurring issues or trends being raised by customers and/or staff and work with the team to develop feedback or solutions
  • Reviewing, updating and continuously improving the health and safety advice and content contained in HazardCo’s products and services

This is a full time, permanent position in a family-friendly, welcoming organisation, where you will be mentored through your development in the H&S industry.
