The role

The Health & Safety Advisor is part of the Human Resources team that provides support and advice to the organisation. The primary purpose of the role is to continue to develop our culture of health, safety and wellbeing and ensure the organisation is complying with relevant legislation and regulations.

The position is based in the sub-tropical city of Whangarei, about two hours' drive north of Auckland.

What you will bring

You will have a relevant degree and a minimum of 5 years' generalist health and safety experience with at least 3 years of that in an advisor or specialist role. The successful person must have excellent communication, interpersonal and report writing and data analyst skills and be experienced in guiding our people to achieve results.
