Rare opportunity for a solid and self-motivated administrator to develop a career in health and safety, working as part of an established team

About the role

This role is ideally suited for a recent Health and Safety graduate, or an experienced administrator who is considering a career in health and safety. These roles don’t come along often, and you would be joining an established team of safety professionals who would mentor and coach you along the way.

Duties

• Provide and maintain health and safety documentation

• Data entry, including maintenance of the online safety system

• Coordinate and take minutes for health and safety meetings

• Assist with audits as required

• Assist with recording insurance incidents

• Research, schedule and manage HSE training

• Assist safety team as required

Skills and experience

• Proven experience in an administrative role

• Excellent IT and communication skill

• Ability to prioritise work and increase efficiency

• Recent qualifications in health and safety are an advantage but not a requirement

• Self-motivated with commitment to furthering a career in this field

• Full NZ Driver’s licence
