About the company and role

Supporting three Trusts who believe that every person deserves a life of freedom, choice and equity, this organisation needs someone to assist senior leadership with implementing great health and safety initiatives to ensure safety for all - with a focus on improvement and providing reporting that is accurate and timely.

Reporting to the Group HR Manager you will work to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone delivering these services out in the community. You will assist the Senior Leadership team by regular auditing and measuring of performance and ensure a continuous improvement process stays front of mind.

This is a role for someone with natural empathy and a caring nature – wishing to contribute to the community and assist those working with our vulnerable people.

Internal relationships will include the Chief Executive, Board of Directors, Health and Safety team and coordinators, all employees across the three Trusts, as well as the internal functions, such as finance, IT etc.

Skills and experience

• Proven safety experience and success

• Diploma in OHS or similar level of qualification

• Strong ability to engage at all levels

• Experience improving employee engagement
