About the role

A newly created role, this is an opportunity to be involved in coordinating health, safety and wellbeing initiatives and implementing the principles of environmental, social governance. Working alongside and reporting to the Head of HS & ESG, this role will include the analysis and coordination of data being presented to a global audience.

As point of contact for health and safety related matters, you’ll have confidence in dealing with a diverse range of people, providing guidance and follow-up as required.

Duties are varied and will include

• Reviewing and updating policies and documents

• Coordinating and administrating the safety management program

• Coordinating medical appointments and return to work programs

• Conducting ESG risk assessments

• Assist with and coordinate ESG strategies and projects

Skills and experience

In a continuously evolving work environment, you will have the ability to embrace the change that is crucial to long term sustainability. A methodical approach and analytical mind are key and you will have had previous experience in health, safety and/or environmental roles and must understand the principles behind sustainability.

There is an established and solid safety structure in place and the company is launching its ESG journey – so you have the opportunity to join this journey at an exciting time for what is traditionally a high emission industry.

It’s anticipated that candidates will have

• Proven attention to detail

• Well developed skills with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint

• Demonstrated data gathering and coordination skills

• Relevant qualification in health, safety, environmental or related fields
