We’re on the search for an experienced health and safety professional to support and partner with our New Zealand based teams. This is not your typical compliance focused role as our Health & Safety Team are fresh thinking and are looking for a like-minded person to help mature our safety and wellbeing culture.

We’ve got loads of exciting opportunities in the pipeline so it’s a great time to join our team. From embedding our WorkWell programme and our new risk management system, to strengthening our focus on critical safety risks and safety leadership capability. With this in mind, you’ll need to be able to embrace new technologies within Health & Safety and constantly seek out ways to improve the way we work and engage our people across the business as we roll out these new initiatives.

This is an energetic role, where you’ll will be responsible for leading and coaching our teams towards a safety culture which promotes continual improvement and empowers employee participation and ownership. No day will be the same as you will be working alongside all levels of business. You need to be able to tailor your delivery style to your audience and be a strong communicator. Your ability to obtain shared leadership and ownership of safety and wellbeing will be critical across these teams.

To be successful in this role you will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills coupled with excellent written and oral communication skills. You must have a proven ability to lead and empower others to strive for excellence in safety with an outgoing personality that is easy to work alongside with. Our preferred applicant has proven experience in a dedicated health and safety role, with a minimum of a Level 4 Health and Safety qualification.
