Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner

To support this aspiration we are looking for an enthusiastic and people-focussed Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner to work across Council to bring our HSW strategy to life and enable our people to thrive.

An integral part of the HR team, this role will lead the on-going process of building our health, safety and well-being culture. We are looking for someone that can develop plans and implement initiatives to cultivate a culture that encourages ownership and continuous improvement in health and safety and well-being.

Applicants should have at least 5 years’ experience in a health and safety partner or senior advisor role, with a relevant qualification.

A strong health and safety skill-set is critical for this role. You will be involved in planning, reviewing and implementing health safety and wellness initiatives as well as providing advice to staff and managers at all levels. More importantly, however, you will need:

• high levels of integrity, drive and enthusiasm

• excellent oral and written communication

• the ability to operate independently as well as part of a team

• strong organisational skills

• a great sense of humour

An initial offer of remuneration will be made in the range of $82,025 - $91,675.
