The NZISM is responsible for dealing with complaints concerning NZISM members. The Complaints Process is independent, fair and open and anyone can make a complaint. The Complaints Process are limited to the behaviour and actions of current members only.
To reduce the possibility of complaints, NZISM follow WorksafeNZ guidelines in promoting the use of qualified and experienced health and safety practitioners and professionals as listed on the Health and Safety Association of New Zealand (HASANZ) register. http://www.hasanz.org.nz/
Complaints NZISM CAN deal with
- What an NZISM member, or company associated with a member, did when they carried out health and safety work.
- What an NZISM member, or company associated with a member, did when they were not carrying out health and safety work if this behaviour could be misconduct. In this instance please call us to discuss before you make a complaint.
