Drones are now an integral tool in a Company’s tool box and the need to understand the health and safety implications of their use is critical. This webinar aims to provide informative guidance on the rules around drones and their operation in New Zealand airspace. It also covers information on what documentation agencies such as Councils, and Company’s should look for when hiring a third party to conduct any drone work.
About the presenter, Heather Andrews:
Our presenter, Heather Andrews, has over 20 years’ experience in a variety of roles in the aviation industry. She is a Director of Aviation Safety Management Systems Ltd, one of New Zealand’s leading aviation regulatory consultancy firms and an CAA certified training company. Heather has been involved with roles such as Private Pilot, Assistant Air Traffic Controller, Purser, Trainer for Airlines, and has been an Industry advisor to ATTTO, NZQA, CAA and Part 119 Operators. An expert in drone management systems, Heather is a leading provider of training and competency assessments for drone pilots, and has assisted with over 30 drone operators to obtain certification with CAA.
