Modern safety philosophies are
being increasingly referred to in
mainstream safety literature and at
professional practice conferences,
but what do they look like in
practice?
What does ‘people as the solution’
look like in an organisation?
And how do we learn from ‘normal
work’?
A common misconception of modern safety philosophies such as Safety I & Safety II is the idea that they are dichotomous, that is there is a ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ way, that we should relegate traditional safety practices to the waste heap in favor of Safety II. In this session Moni will draw upon the audience’s experiences and concerns, using real-world examples to unravel some of these perceived problems
Pizza will be provided and a cash bar is available
