ShopCare and NZISM are pleased to host Ruth Cook, Engagement Lead from WorkSafe. Ruth will talk about WorkSafe’s working in and around vehicle program of work. This is a great opportunity to engage first hand with the regulator and understand the implications and opportunities of Worksafe's stream of work on your business. There will also be time for questions and answers at the end.

Established in July 2019 with the financial support of ACC and retail industry members, ShopCare represents the retail and supply chain sector, and meets a critical need for safety leadership to drive long term positive change.

ShopCare have been working closely with WorkSafe to connect and engage the industry with WorkSafe’s “Working in and around vehicles” programme. Vehicles are related to 73% of work-related fatalities. Given most workers are around vehicles at some point during their work day, this level of harm means that this is a significant focal area for WorkSafe.
