Ask a Safety Technologist - an immersive experience, designed by you!

Join ESL Auckland as they welcome Cameron Stevens, VR Lead, Lenovo. Cameron is a trusted voice for enterprise XR and and Safety Tech, transforming human and organisational performance in high risk industry with a combination of cutting-edge technology.

Loosely following the BarCamp format, this ESL event will ultimately be designed by you…That’s right, we will be relying on your experience and curiosity to co-design the agenda on the night! Food and drinks will be provided

This is how it works:

• You will come prepared with a question to ask our guest; the only rule is that the theme of the question must be related to WHS, technology and innovation
• At the start of the evening, everyone will be asked, in turn to ask their question to the whole audience
• The audience will then vote on the top 3 questions to be explored in the evening
• Our guest will facilitate an interactive session to answer the 3 questions with the most votes
• You’ll also get a chance to play with the latest immersive technology

Example Questions:

• What is the difference between augmented, mixed and virtual reality?
• How do you get started with safetytech?
• What are your tips for selecting EHS management system software?
• What technology do you think will have the biggest positive impact on health & safety this decade?
• Are you concerned by the pace of change of technology in enterprise?
• Can you give some examples of the use of artificial intelligence in safety?

Bio:

Cameron Stevens is a technologist & chartered safety professional, most comfortable exploring digital transformation and the intersection where safety & technology meet. Cameron is an industrial XR specialist at Lenovo deploying augmented & virtual reality for enterprise & volunteers on ISO Standards Committees for Artificial Intelligence, AR & Virtual Reality. Cameron enjoys coaching individuals & teams to improve the design & experience of work with responsible innovation & emerging technologies.
