Join us for the Community’s final event for 2021 where we will be hosting Dr Fred Sherratt, Professor of Construction Management at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) in the United Kingdom to discuss her research into zero target safety management programmes.

Fred will discuss the dangers of focusing on ‘zero harm’ targets, and outline her work proving UK construction organisations with a zero target programme are statistically more likely to have a fatal or major incident, than those without such a target.

With a background in the construction industry, Fred has a desire to produce work and insights that are actually useful in practice, aiming to help create a construction industry that ensures the people she used to work alongside are as safe and healthy as possible.

This will be a discussion-based online event, with plenty of time for questions. Please come with your questions for Fred, and others.
