Are you trying to get the attention of your Board and struggling? Mike Cosman is chatting with our CEO Selena Armstrong on how to ensure your messages are getting heard at the Board table. He’ll be discussing the information Boards want to know and what they really need to know, and how to ensure your messages get cut through and have impact. Sometimes we need to guide Boards in terms of what they really should be looking at and asking for, to ensure effective oversight of health and safety across an organisation. Mike will be giving us some of his insights on how to effectively engage at Board level.
Mike Cosman is the Chair of the NZISM Governance Board, holds an Honours degree in management, postgraduate qualifications in OHS and a Certificate in Company Direction from the IoD. Mike is on the HASANZ Register and an accredited SafePlus assessor, a Chartered Fellow Member of IOSH, Certified Fellow Member of the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management and a Member of the NZ Institute of Directors. Mike is one of New Zealand’s most highly regarded health and safety professionals with 43 years’ experience in operational, management, policy, and strategic roles.
