Come join us for an insightful tour of one of Tauranga’s water treatment facilities.
Ensuring that water comes out of your tap in a drinkable state is quite a risky business that involves complex systems and hazardous chemicals. The Tauranga City Council plant operations team will demonstrate how their operation runs without risk to health or safety. The plant tour will conclude with a demonstration of ‘Building Information Modelling Management’ (BIM) software and how Tauranga City Council and Beca have utilised BIM to eliminate risk at the design phase of their state-of-the-art water treatment facility currently under construction at Te Puke
