"Raising the bar” is the theme of HASANZ Conference 2018. It reflects HASANZ’s aim of raising the standard of workplace health and safety advice and services in New Zealand. It also reflects our individual aspiration to perform to the best of our ability. In this respect, we sometimes exceed expectations; at other times we fall short! HASANZ CONFERENCE 2018 is about taking us to the next level of professional development, helping us to improve on our personal best and push beyond it.
This is a multi-disciplinary conference organised by health and safety professionals for professionals. And it will also be hugely valuable for the people who use them, including health and safety managers, and everyone with a direct interest in workplace health and safety – businesses, public agencies, educators and sector leaders.
HASANZ CONFERENCE 2018 is a landmark gathering of New Zealand’s diverse health and safety community. It’s this cross-pollination of ideas that really elevates the conversation. Our Conference is a time and place to network with your peers and make new connections, sharing knowledge and experience. Based on your feedback on our inaugural conference, we are repeating the very successful format of combining an outstanding line-up of keynote speakers with master classes and an excellent choice of concurrent sessions to appeal to specialist interests.
Our recent HASANZ Health and Safety Professionals Survey highlighted the growing demand for “experts plus” – health and safety professionals with technical knowhow plus a wider range of softer skills. The Conference programme will reflect this, taking your thinking outside the usual boundaries.
Push yourself that bit further at HASANZ CONFERENCE 2018.
Aim high with us.
