“Sex, drugs and rock’n roll” - the unique challenges of managing event site health and safety
NZISM Wellington Branch member, Cathy Knowsley, accumulated over 25 years of local and touring experience as a lighting and audio technician, stage manager, production manager, and event site manager before deciding to specialise as a health and safety consultant for the entertainment and events industries.
Combining extensive first-hand workplace knowledge and experience with a personal fascination with crowd dynamics and public safety, Cathy will share the unique challenges that are faced when managing the health and safety of both the crew and punters on an event site.
Doors open at 12 noon, with the event running from 12.15 - 12.45pm. There will be time for questions and networking until 1.15pm. Tea, coffee and water will be available. Please rsvp using the eventbrite link.

Thank you for joining the Women in Safety Excellence (WISE) network.
We hold various online and face-to-face events throughout the year and if one occurs near you, we would love to meet you in person.
LinkedIn - Please make sure you join our LinkedIn group to stay connected and on top of our planned webinars and events. We encourage you to post anything in the WISE group page that you think other network members would find useful or inspiring. Please don't be shy. The more we reach out, the more we connect with each other, and the more we can help each other on our journeys.
We might send you the occasional email but our web page on the NZISM website is always the best place to go for an overview of what's coming up in the WISE calendar.
