Join the Bay of Plenty Branch as they welcome Chris Harris, (National HSE Manager - Tech at Downer,) who will be taking a closer look at Occupational Health Hazards from a generalist's perspective.

With input from an occupational hygienist and an occupational physician, Chris has developed a tool to help OHS generalists:

1. consider what the occupational health hazards are in their business;
2. define the key controls that they should be looking for when assessing work;
3. set expectations for pre-employment and ongoing health assessments;
4. engage with an occupational hygienist to develop monitoring programmes (workplace and worker exposures); and
5. identify their SEGs (similar exposure groups) for monitoring and assessments.
