Who’s this course for?

If you need to be more effective in getting buy-in for initiatives that you know will create better health and safety outcomes for everyone, this is the course for you.

What you’ll learn:

Technical skills are no longer enough for health and safety professionals to ensure work is done safely, and at the standard required. As a leader in health and safety, being aware of your own patterns of thought and communication enables you to better influence the decisions and actions of others. This self-awareness will enable you to adapt your approach depending on the situation and the needs and desires of the individuals involved thus increasing your level of influence.

This course will enable you to create a climate of trust and collaboration that will strengthen your relationships with key decision makers. By constructing an influence map and recognising and adapting your influencing style you will be able to deliver your messages more confidently and persuasively, creating positive outcomes for all . By understanding what’s important to others you'll be able to use positive influence to win long-term backing from important stakeholders by supporting them in the way they’ll most appreciate.
